I (the site admin) just noticed that this site is green on McAfee’s “SiteAdvisor.” Not that I wanted it to be yellow or worse, red. Green to me now symbolizes that all the links I have shared here are all green.
Are you getting confused? Well if you are then that must be because you haven’t had McAfee’s SiteAdvisor installed in your computer or you don’t have Firefox 3 installed. SiteAdvisor is a small plugin or addon that runs with your browser. It has a rating scale of “GREY” “GREEN” “YELLOW” and “RED.” Each color symbolizes a different rating to the site in question.
Ok now let me back up a few step here. When you search for, I don’t know, “screensavers,” you’ll have to “download” them. Well you have no idea what it’s downloading until you either find out it’s a safe download or a VIRUS! With SiteAdvisor, it shows you a small circle next to the search results and inside the circle it has the variable of the 4 colors: grey, green, yellow, or red. If that circle is red colored, obviously you know it’s bad.
Now here’s MY definition of the colors that are coded by links and in sites.
Simple huh?
Now if you want to know or see what McAfee said, nothing really, just click here. It will go to the McAfee SiteAdvisor site and it will show you that this site is a good and safe site
