If I get a tattoo on my areola, will that cause any complications later in life?
For example, if I decide to breastfeed, could the ink in the tattoo harm the baby? I am not looking at getting some scary tattoo, I just want to add a little extra color to the area because I have really really light areolas and I want darker ones. I’m not going to have some dragon around my nipple or something.
Please keep negative comments to yourself. I don’t really care to hear any “Eeeww don’t do it”s. Help me if you can, otherwise, don’t say anything.
I’m not worried about the pain. Pain, I can handle.
I do not think that it will do any harm in future. It cannot possibly harm any future babies. I would just be worried that there is a greater risk of infection when you get it done and it sounds like it’s going to hurt like crazy!
